Reminiscing

The story was set back in a time that was similar to when I grew up. It made me feel comfortable with the settings and with the characters. I enjoyed the book even though I found it hard to get into the story line because it moved slowly. The second half of the book flowed faster.

Humorous and endearing!

Great storytelling! Engaging characters and believable storyline. The audiobook narration was very well done. So glad I purchased because this isn't my usual genre. Well done!

Near miss

This book could have been laugh out loud funny from start to finish, but it just came up short for me. It was predictable and sweet. The characters were pretty much what you would expect. The reader was ok and improved over time. But it just missed the mark. The pace was off or something that just made it less than it could have been.

I would highly recommend this very entertaining novel. The characters and story are engaging. I’m anxious to hear the sequel.

Edward Kelly Moore is a masterful storyteller who created such rich and complex characters that I did not want the story to end. Odette, Clarice and Barbara Jean represent what friendship and sisterhood are all about. This book will have you laughing out loud and reflecting on your own relationships.

Absolutely charming delightful book. Narrator absolutely perfect. A joy to listen to and meet each & every character. Smiled many times throughout and this has become one of my favorite books. Will listen to many times especially if feeling down a great feelgood good that r eminds you the importance of having good friends.
