A straightforward solid spiritual guide

Listen to the narrator for yourself. I found the narration good and the reader had appropriate deference and sensitivity to the content. I did not agree with the harsh judgements regarding the narrator, it was fine for me.

This book feels like a good distillation of the many books I have read on Buddhism, positive psychology and just good ways to live fully. I recommend this for anyone who feels blocked in life.

Most transformational book I have ever heard

I have read and listen to many transformational books and inspirational books over the years. This one was recommended to me by one of my clients, and to be honest I was a little dubious about the message. I did not want to read or listen to a book that proselytize a religious point of view.

This book was none of those. Instead what I experienced was an ever growing Lightness of Being. I was able to, as the book has asked me to step behind the busy world of my thoughts and emotions and to experience just for a few moments the bliss that the book talks about with such eloquence.

My only complaint is the book's lack of specific stories. In fact, it lacks practical examples, and it lacks any proof of what is trying to prove, except for the exhortation that my own experience should be the guide. But after going through the book, I realize that its style is purposeful and effective. in fact, if you look at this book as a six hour long meditation as I have, you might appreciate its simplicity.

Big kudos to the reader who, in my opinion brought the words to life.

Love this book!

At first I wasn't sure I liked this book at all. In fact the first couple of chapters made me angry. But then I settled in to the cadence of the reader's voice and listened, really listened to what he was saying. I ended up loving the book. In fact, I think for the first time I understand the meaning of "The Tao of Pooh."

just listening to this book is like meditating.

the energy I feel when I listen to this book is healing. it changes the way I look at life completely. I listened to it alot on the way to work and my job is tough. throughout the day I learned to let go of other people's seemingly negative energies and keep coming back to the present moment and the awe of the meer miracle of all of our existence. I thank you for writing this book. I am going to send it as a gift to my mom and tell her to pass it around to my family. if you find yourself hung up on the little things this is a book for you.

Great first half

The entire book could have been written in half the time. The message is awesome and if you put it into practice, it will change your life. The last half became repetitive in my opinion but again the original message is life-changing

A book that cuts to the heart of inner peace.

In my opinion, this is a great book to read before moving to authors such as Eckhart Tolle.

My new favorite

Higher truths explained in simpler ways. I’d recommend this book to especially those who are confused or lost by many religious or spiritual teachings, which were supposed to bring people closer to God or the Source, but often served the opposite way by presenting things in more complex ways than they actually are.

Beyond this level of clarity, I guess you are left with only the experience itself. So go ahead and see for yourself!
