The Vagina Monelogues

This was the first time I had heard this, even though I knew About it before. I am a little ambivalent about it, but definitely a good lesson to round you out. It helps to know all sides of the story

Great collection.

Each monologue was interesting, many were funny, many made me stop and think. I really enjoyed the collection and how varied it was in terms of the ages, races and class backgrounds of those discussed. It also included both heterosexual and homosexual essays and never felt biased, to me, toward one or the other.

A Woman's Anatomy At Its Best

I loved this book! I was very shocked to learn that some of the women I knew had no idea what their vagina looked like. My question to them was WHY...it's YOURS! Vagina had been such a hush hush topic, that many women will never fully understand the power & beauty of their vagina. This book is candidly wonderful & funny! Bravo!

Best thing ever

You'll start it wondering what this is, and you'll end it wondering what the hell you just listened to, but having so many answers to that question and so many questions for those answers that you brak into whole new territory in the mental experience.

What an interesting collection of different viewpoints. I am so glad that the person who read the book was the one who actually wrote the book. No other person could have done this.

Enlightening

I feel very enlightened reading this book. Listening to it was even better. I'm seeing the Monologues this weekend at my daughters school in Southern California. She plays a part in the Monologue. I'm proud to be her mom. She is empowering young women and in doing so, empowering me as well!!!
