About this listen

Jake's made a pretty amazing discovery. It seems like there may be other people who know about the alien invasion of Earth. Others who know about the Yeerks. Jake finds a website devoted to revealing the existence of the Yeerks, but he and the other Animorphs suspect it might be too good to be true.

If they try to investigate the site and it's a trap, the Yeerks could find out who they are. If they don't check it out, they'll never know if they're the only ones fighting. Whatever Jake and the others decide to do, they've got to move quickly, because Visser Three isn't the only one dying to meet them.

One of the best books in the series

This book is amazing. The story line is intense, the emotions are high, and the voice acting is good.

Excellent narration, story is a bit of a miss

Excellent narration as always.

This one is a bit of a miss. It adds to the overall story somewhat but (spoiler) the revelations within are never referenced again. It's treated like it may come up again, but it never does.

This book does a bit of a weak attempt to tackle the frequent trope in Jake books---that he hates being a leader and makes mistakes. Other books in the series do it better, but it is a fun addtion.

And for kids of the 90's the constant tech references should be so incredibly hysterical. Marco bragging that he has a 56k modem? Sign me up for more of those nostalgia tickles.

I love this series

I would recommend this series 2 people of all ages. I grew up reading these books, and it’s nice to be able to listen to them as an adult. I don’t care what age I might be, They bring joy and nostalgia to my life. I was a 90s kid and these books came out in the 90s. I love all the narrators. They have all the perfect voices for all the characters. This book in particular, it bothered me that there is a mystery in the end, but I won’t spoil what the mystery is. I hope to find out later in another book.

Great voices for all the characters

As always McLeod Andrews does a really good job giving distinctive voices to all the characters and not just the main team.

I am really impressed with how this story doesn't softball the hard choices and consequences for the actions of these characters.

Ok, that was crazy

That, was one of the best books of this series. It got so surprisingly real, and everything about it was fantastic, especially the performance from the reader.

Perfect Ax Voice

I have been eating up these now that they are on audible, and enjoying reliving my childhood. This narrator for Jake is outstanding, and I especially love his voice for the character Ax (who is my favorite). I think he may be my favorite narrator for these. I'm hoping they do the whole series including chronicles and mega. This would be the best thing ever!
