Bi-sexual romance
The narration was great. I just couldn’t get into the story as the young woman kept doubting her sexuality and interests.
I have read plenty of same sex romance and mystery books, but I was not prepared for it in this book as it was not disclosed, which it should be.

Cozy and entertaining
Like all of this authors stories, this one is wonderful. An inclusive, relatable, cozy magical read. I'm often picky about narrators, but this one has a lovely voice, and appropriate accent. she tells the story wonderfully. Can't wait to read the next book in the myrtlewood mysteries

Fun background/standalone!
I loved these three when they were introduced in book seven, so getting to know their backstory was fantastic!! The narrator's voice was a little soft and monotone for my spicy combo brain to keep zoomed in on without the volume super high.
