Great for missions

I would not use this book to create a theology but to weigh what you think of theology in other contexts. I loved this book for its desire to know how to serve others better with gospel of Jesus Christ.

A must-read for any mission-minded Christian!

Tennent is masterful at dealing with all perspectives and issues related to theology in the majority world.

A wholistic and holy endeavor

These lectures are profound, powerful and a prophetic voice for the American church to humbly rethink and and consider afresh what a robust and rigorous Christian theology should be in the global context. Every Pastor and theologian who takes seriously the call to see the gospel preached to all the nations should wrestle with these realities.

Challenging

This is a great challenge to Western thinking and a sweeping look at how the Western concept of Christianity relates to both world religions and to Christian thought in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Not the book

The author states similar things to the book but it strays too much. I like to read along with the author and this audiobook is very different from the book.
