Heartwarming story of a father's love

Another reviewer compared this book to Where the Crawdad's Sing and I absolutely agree, if you loved that book then you'll absolutely love this novel by Kimi Cunningham Grant. Not only is it well written, but it is an incredibly moving story that is complex yet simple at the same time. The narrator's performance was also fantastic.

such a good book

A parents love .. oh my heart. This was a fast read. I didn't want to put it down.

Very well written and such a great ending! I would read this or listen again in a heart beat, it was visually stimulating and the narrators voice was nice as well.

A little king on Act One but paints a clear picture and found myself caught up in the outcome over the last two hours with a few unexpected twists & turns.
