Wow

This was an excellent read. The narrator was convincing in both the male and female roles. Another winner by SEP. If you haven't read the other Chicago Stars books you are missing out.

It just doesn't get any better than this

Story line great, reader superb, characters addictive. It is a page turner that you don't want to put down.

Had read others in the series and was really wanting to read about how Molly fits in.

Learning the depth of the characters makes them feel a part of your real life.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The narrator's performance is flawless as always. She does the voices great and adds so much to each character.

I feel saddened by our loss, as readers, of Kate Fleming. She is already dearly missed.

Good story

Ties in nicely with the other book's in the series. Ms. Fields definitely meet the challenge of all the different voices with gusto!! And I love the way SEP always writes in a great side story that is shorter but just as sweet.

That’s what I am after listening to this wonderful book. This Heart of Mine works on so many levels. It’s a romantically comedic, tearjerking, empowering, sensual romp that is sometimes viewed through the wise eyes of a children’s book bunny. A joy!

Once again an enjoying SEP romance in the Chicago Stars series. I had a great listening and this narrator does it so good.

Witty and fun read.

Although I preferred the first three Chicago Stars football books to this one, I still rank this one with 4 stars as a good read. The first three books which I felt were great are: It Had to be You, Heaven, Texas, and Nobody's Baby But Mine. In this book, I didn't enjoy the two main characters as much as I enjoyed the characters in the previous books. I'm not sure why. They both sought entertainment through risk taking. Molly was supposed to be smart, so I couldn't understand why she would give away all her inherited money. That bothered me. And it still bothers me.

I read the paperback twice and recently listened to the audiobook. The first time I read it I was laughing out loud several times. I didn’t laugh as much in subsequent reads because I knew what to expect, but I still enjoyed it a lot. I also liked the secondary romance between Kevin’s mother Lilly and a famous reclusive artist Liam.

AUDIOBOOK NARRATOR:
Anna Fields was very good with everything except Kevin’s voice. It wasn’t masculine or sexy somehow. It was almost juvenile. I loved her voices for the heroes in books 1 and 3 (Dan Calebow and Cal Bonner) - very sexy. But not this book.

A lovely story, if you just wants to be entertained without much fuss. No need to know anything about football. Just relax and listen!!!

Fun, breezy listen!

"This Heart of Mine" was my second Phillips book, and I really enjoyed it. It was a cute story with likeable characters. It was, of course, completely predicable, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the listen!

I enjoyed it so much that I didn't want to put it down! It took over my whole life. I felt like the characters became friends of mine.
