Publisher's summary

The one woman Winter Tulane loved and lost is back, and he is determined to have her again, gracing his bed, filling his days, and owning his heart. A joint tour with both 13 Shades of Red and her band, Strange Angels, is not the most optimal way to get her back, what with the actual working and pitfalls of the road to contend with, but Winter is determined to show her that what they had was good...and could be again.

Lola Cavendish harbors a secret she is desperate to keep from the one man she still wants and needs in her life. True, the joint tour with his band was her idea, but having an issue such as she does is not conducive to rekindling an affair. Taking drastic measures to ensure a reunion is the only way she can be certain she achieves her end game. But the lives they both lead could stop a reunion before it starts. When past mistakes surface, it will take more than forgiveness to bring them together.

A great addition

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. ALthough not a genre I usually listen to I really enjoyed it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of This Is Forever?

I loved the interaction of WInter and Lola

What does Joshua Macrae bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice and song was perfect for this story

Any additional comments?

Winter Tulane is a troubled man who wants desperately to win back the one woman he loves who got away, Lola Cavendish. When their respective bands begin a joint tour he schemes to get her back into his life. However he hasn’t counted on Lola’s determination to keep him at arm’s length and although she wants him desperately, she cannot allow herself to give in to her feelings.
Winter has buried himself in a lifestyle of destruction, with lots of booze and meaningless sex with the band’s groupies. But he knows what he wants and is determined to win Lola back. But will they be able to get past their history and move forward together? Winter senses the changes in Loa, but he has no idea what has caused them. Will the secrets that they both are keeping destroy their chance at happiness?
I enjoyed the interaction of Winter and Lola’s characters. The chemistry between these two was amazing, hot and erotic and the paranormal twist that was woven throughout the story kept me reading to see what was going to happen next. I also liked touching base and catching up with the other members of the band.
I look forward to reading more from S.A. Price and to be honest I am rather anxious to see what happens to the other members of the band.

13 Shades of Red Book Two

13 Shades of Red Book Two

Winter Tulane has come to terms with the fact that he made a horrible mistake when he accused Lola of sleeping with Rhys. Now that the two bands are on tour together, he is determined to get her back, but can she handle the changes he has endured since their separation? Lola has dealt with some supernatural changes as well, and she cannot bring herself to endanger Winter and the band. Having X ward her seems to be the best solution to the problem. Now that they are back together, can Winter and Lola truly connect again?

Audio Review:
The song. There is a song that was written for the book and Joshua Macrae actually put it to music. This is one of the most dedicated and talented voice actors to grace audio readers ears. Let him entertain you.

Paranormal romance wrapped in a good love story.

Winter and Lola were great leads and you couldn't help but love them both. Winter was a very sexy alpha lead and Lola was a strong female- which I very enjoy.
The first three-quarters of the book really focused on their love affair, both the past and the development of their current relationship in the present. The last quarter of the book was a lot more intense in focusing on the underlying issue in their relationship, and I really enjoyed both pieces. It was like getting two books in one!
If you bought this book without knowing it has some paranormal aspects then you probably wouldn't know it until about 70% of the way through the book. (Yes, this was me!) I am not a typical paranormal romance listener, but this was a really good book. I am looking forward to more books in this series.
Joshua Mcacrae was strong in portraying both lead characters consistently. This is my second listen by him and I would definitely listen to more of his work in the future.
Credit worthy for sure because as I mentioned earlier, I kind of felt like I got a 2 for 1 deal as the love story unfolds and then the intense ending.

Sexy story of two souls who were meant to be together

This was a line near the end of the book that I thought summed it up pretty good;
It's like a fairy tail. A fucked up one with demons and ghosts, but at least it didn't end like the Grimm ones. Lol
Very enjoyable (but not typical) romance about two people who were meant to be together forever. Josh did an excellent job narrating and made the story very enjoyable. My only wish was that he would slow down. He kind of talked fast. But his sexy voice made up for it :) loved when he did Dante's voice. Yummmm. I also loved the music between chapters, and even inserted into the story in places. Very cool! Definitely worth a listen, especially if your tired of typical romances.

Winter's story will melt you and that voice, wow!

What is better than reading This is Forever by S.A. Price? Having it read to you by an amazing narrator. Joshua Macrae makes the story come to life. The different characters have their own unique voice or accent. This is my favorite book in the 13 Shades of Red Series, because of my love for Winter. The first time I listened to it I was prepared to find fault. You know when you read a book, you have it set in your mind how it should sound. I was blown away by Joshua's voice. Well done!

It is a supernatural, rock star romance....with some sexy stuff....I dont know if I can compare it!

Which character – as performed by Joshua Macrae – was your favorite?

Winter!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Lola/Natasha wakes up, and Winter is there..I adore Winter!!

Any additional comments?

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! This is the best of the series so far in my opinion...although they are all good...and I recommend starting with book 1...Winter and Lola are meant to be!

Winter has wanted Lola back for a long time..they were high school sweethearts... but the life of a rocker is not easy, and things dont always go as they should...Well both Winter and Natasha have supernatural secrets and getting back together without sharing these secrets is not going to go as planned...When Natasha learns that Winter is a demon and why she runs away, but this put her at risk and the entity that is in her will not stay a bay...She almost dies trying to become whole, but it all turns out ok, Winter and Natasha are now one..

GREAT LISTEN!! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND! WELL WORTH YOUR TIME AND A CREDIT!!!

Such a great listen!

I am really loving this series! The characters in this book are amazingly written and Josh does a spectacular job of making the characters come to life.
The challenges they MCs go through are so engaging and the steamy scenes are hot as hell.
