About this listen

Something borrowed, something blue, Olivia’s a bridezilla, and Andrew’s pretty scared too…

Olivia is on the warpath of wedding planning. She’s ticking off her tasks rapid fire: flowers, food, and fireworks. Those all are checked off just in time for Andrew to get hit writing a big check of his own.

He’s beginning to get suspicious of her motives, since his blushing bride has gone from dragging her feet on a proposal, to suddenly running down the aisle. Olivia doesn’t want to admit that she’s trying to get hitched before her cold feet get the best of her. Instead she leans heavily on her super strict wedding planner, Lacy McBride, to keep her eye on the prize. But when Olivia stumbles upon Lacy dead in the middle of a mock reception table, cake fork in hand, she feels her safety net evaporating.

Now, Olivia must shift her attention from planning the event to solving the crime to clear her name. Not because she’s a suspect, but because of “The Bride’s Curse” - an old jinx that dooms any bride not marrying for love, and their planner! No wedding planner in Lexingburg will work with Olivia until the crime’s origins are clear. However, the deeper she falls into Lacy’s mystery the more Olivia sees that wedding planning can be murder...

Great mystery

Another great book in this series. This book was fun and entertaining.. I love the characters. Olivia gets herself involved in another murder and if that is not crazy , the victim is her wedding planner. If that is not enough, now no one wants to help her with the wedding. They call her a cursed bride. Now she must find the killer. I recommend this book and this series. The narrator did great job. I received this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review.

A Howling Good Mystery

I loved this book, the story had a good pace and Olivia is a great slueth looking at all possibilities. The narrator had a great voice and I liked the voice changes for different characters, they weren't over done. I thought the parts with Rose interrupted the story . I would recommend this book its a great book

Sort of a cliffhanger, but mystery is solved

This is a standalone listen that features Olivia and Andrew. She is a dog walker with a panache for solving mysteries. This time her wedding planner is the victim of murder. I enjoyed the antics of the characters in this story and was pleased with how the crime was solved. I wasn’t thrilled with how the story ended leaving Olivia watching Andrew walk away. I will have to listen to the next book to see if she gets her happy ending. I really enjoyed Machelle Williams performance in this book. She added realistic emotions to the book and the right amount of drama. Olivia was having some bridezilla moments. Stella St. Claire wove a great story and had incredible imagery. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

Be Ready to get the Next Book!

This was a really fun mystery. The author does a great job of hooking you in the story and keeping the mystery going. My only complaint is the story is left on a cliff hanger that makes you need to read the next book... some series aren't quite so demanding with the next in the series but this one makes you want book 3. I really enjoyed Michelle Williams narration, she really made it fun to listen. All in all this was a pretty clean book too which is always nice.

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, and found it very entertaining. The characters are very interesting and well written. Olivia is getting married until she finds her wedding planner dead. Now Olivia must solve the murder so she can find a new wedding planner. Chaos and humor is the result in this delightful tale with a unpredictable ending. I'll definitely will be listen to book 3.

Book 2

This is book two in the series. I have read book one but I think this book could stand on it own. Olivia and Andrew are engaged and starting to plan their wedding. Olivia has a bridezilla complex and Andrew is acting like maybe they shouldn't fallow throw with the wedding. Add a murder and you have an interesting story. Machelle Williams does a nice job of narrating this book. I was gifted this book with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.

Till Death Do Us Bark

Such a fun cozy mystery. While planning her wedding to Andrew, Olivia turns into “bridezilla”. When the wedding planner is found murdered, Olivia jumps into the investigation with both feet... she needs to solve the case and prove that this was not the curse of the bride!
