WOW
Get it don't debate. Listen this book will pull all of the emotions out you. The development of the characters were so well written. The voice actress did an amazing job I kept forgetting it was just her bringing all of these characters to life. I'm still in tears this audible man.

Great writing
I wanted them to win! the complexity of incorporating the topic of extreme mental health issues and being able to level it all out and trust someone enough to allow them past your intrusive thoughts for a forever with them is amazing. Great series.

First off Morae did her thing with this book!! I can listen to her all day she really brought the characters to life kept the book flowing!! Denny had me on edge !! I'm glad it touch a subject that the black community struggle in. This book had me invaluable chokehold of emotions and I had to complete this book almost losing sleep trying to finish!! I LOVED book 1. But I don't think book 2 was really needed. I felt it was drawn out. Nika whined and cried this entire book and it was annoying. This is the reason for the 3-star performance. I cringed EVERYTIME the narrator cried "Dennnnnyyyy".
There will be a lot of parts that can be fwd and still keep you on track. I wish this book touched more on his new business proposal rather than Nicka's crying all the damn time. Also, I don't like the way Nicka's concern for her mental health was brushed off. I get it, this was focused on Denny (men's) mental health but it's obvious that Nicka has some issues as well. They may not be as severe as his, but it was still something that could've/should've been explored a little more.
