Publisher's summary

A stand-alone novella in the Dale Kinsall mystery series (Nose for Trouble; Scent of Danger): Who really has the nose for trouble…Flagstaff veterinarian Dale Kinsall or his young Beagle Sully? A trip to New Mexico for a tracking dog test leaves Dale with as many questions as answers…especially when Sully, true to form, tracks his way to more than the final glove.

Scraps From the Table

I just discovered the Chet and Bernie Series and becoming first intrigued, then converted into an acolyte of the cult of the canine detective. So to continue the theme I noticed this novella and it's diminutive price tag so I drank the Kool-Aid and ordered this selection. All I can say is that Sully and Dale are no Chet and Bernie.
After attempting to listen intently to the first forty minutes finding myself continually zoning out I began to read Audible reviews hoping that something about this audiobook would grab my attention; that didn't happen. Perhaps it was Johnathan Yen who possess a smooth easy voice; perhaps it was the writing but my attention just kept slipping away from the narration. There was nothing egregiously terrible about the book (at least that I can recall) but therein lies the rub; there's nothing particularly memorable either. Purchase at your own risk unless you're in need an inexpensive sleep aid.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
