Publisher's summary
The prospect of hidden riches can bring out the best… and worst in its seekers. It can drive men mad. It can drive men to kill.
While visiting the hallowed battlefields of Normandy, former Navy SEAL Logan Dodge and his family make an extraordinary discovery. One left behind in the tattered pages of a young soldier’s journal—a cryptic entry by a Key West native, alluding to a clue to a legendary lost treasure that’d long ago faded to the realm of myth.
Excited to return home and embark upon a treasure hunt, the Dodge family arrive in Key West to discover that Logan’s best friend has been beaten nearly to the brink of death. His attacker? His fiancée’s ex-husband, a serial abuser, hot-tempered hedge fund manager who’s fallen into severe misfortune and needs money fast in order to save his skin.Try as they may, Logan and his family can’t keep their search a secret. The scent of gold is in the air, and sharks are swirling. What begins as a fun summer undertaking quickly turns deadly as professional criminals descend upon the islands to claim the riches for themselves and silence anyone who stands in their way.
The twentieth installment in the bestselling action-adventure series is a pulse-pounding, scuba diving, guns-blazing, treasure hunting adventure in the Florida Keys. Logan will be pushed to his mental and physical limits. But fortune favors the bold.

The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.
