Fantastic

Wonderfully poetic stories told with honest emotion. Great listening for cold evening in front of the fireplace.

Incredibly vivid and emotional. It embodies the passion and love that is black womanhood. I'm looking forward to the next offering by B.A. Buie!

Floored***Loved***

I was not expecting such a refreshing, compelling, artful collaboration. The storytelling style is organic, seamless, rhythmic. I accompanied Buie from start to finish on her journey of peaks and valleys and damned near flatline, earth shattering intersectional moments of self discovery and struggles of identity the foundation method to owning one's destiny or path. Woman, Know Thyself~Love Thyself~Grow Thyself. A "Trip" of emotions! I look forward to following the author on her writing journey.
I am an avid reader and although I found this piece, accidentally, I was impressed--more like, caught flatfooted by her unique and engaging use of poetry and prose to tell such a fluid story/biopic.
I can go as far as saying that I would love to see this piece performed on stage or on screen.💞💕
