About this listen

A princess. A soldier. A destiny neither could ever imagine.

Leoron of Alera returns home from the Hive wars determined to protect the capital city - and last bastion of a vanished queen’s reign - from civil war. Loyal to the bone, Leo answers the call from Prime Nial and vows to protect at any cost three unknown females arriving from Earth.

But the simple soldier is unprepared for the shock of desire that brings him to his knees at first sight of Trinity Jones. Nothing makes sense as Leo fights friend and foe alike and discovers the woman stealing his heart has a destiny beyond anything he could have imagined.

Welcome to the planet Alera, where women from Earth not only find their mates, but fight to rule the world.

This will be the last of Grace Goodwin's books

This new series is different from the original The Interstellar Bride series. It doesn't take place on the battlefields of the Hive war. But I had my fill of spankings and dominating males. And all the Earth women who suddenly discover that they like it. And the males smiled fondly and chuckled while openly discussing the lesson that was learned.

Pretty good!

I really liked this one! It has a lot of story, and the hot scenes are HOT. Grace Goodwin is a bit hit-or-miss for me. But this one is great and I’m excited to continue with this particular storyline.

Goodwin’s books, as far as I can tell, all revolve around one central storyline that is the Interstellar Brides Program. Even though she has different series, they all come back to this central narrative. This can be kind of difficult to follow if you haven’t read all of them. I haven’t. And it’s hard to determine the master order of them unless you go to her website on which she does have a chorological list. There are roughly 40 books in this series. No lie.

Narrations was fine.

Absolutely wonderfully written

This collection was very interesting, climatic, and just as hot as all the other Interstellar Brides books! I love how the book keeps you so invested in the story by giving spotlights or appearances of past brides/ matches while weaving them into the action and momentum towards the climax. I usually can’t read romance novels bc I’m always analyzing the text for improvements but Goodwin is very good at telling a story and the performer was very very good. His voice is very metamorphic to the story’s needs which only added to the story.

Spend your credits on this one!

This story has it all. Battle scenes, sex scenes, spaceships, aliens, and mystery. Great character development. Can't wait to download volume 2.

Awesome

I really enjoy the story, the plot and the beginning character development. The only drawback is the narrator. He's a little too slow and melodic. The change of voice for characters is good, but he lacks the ...umph or excitement during the tense scenes. I will complete the trilogy because I want to know how it ends, I just wish he had more zing.

appreciated the writing

I really enjoyed how this book is written. Not overly sexed up, a good story. what I didn't enjoyed was the narrator as a woman. why didn't you have a women narrator and A man like most of your books. a men narratoring for 3 different women was not good.

ehhh…

Review of audiobook borrowed through Audible Plus.
I wanted to like Trinity but found it very difficult. I have no plans to add it to my wish list at this time, but I’m going to see these titles through to the end of the trilogy. It’s almost as if someone other than Grace Goodwin wrote this title and very loosely connected it to the IBP universe.
Macrae is weak as narrator. He doesn’t add to the story, neither does he fade into the background. (3 ⭐️ )

Really enjoyed this one!

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end and pretty much starts with a bang with the three sisters getting ready to transport to Alera in order to find their kidnapped mother. Their mother is the Queen of Alera but when her husband is murdered in front of her and she is able to escape with 2 trusted guards before they can kill her as well, she runs to Earth to hide out and raise her daughter but always with the plan to come back. It has now been 27 years and she has the daughter she was pregnant with, Trinity, as well as 2 more, Faith and Destiny, and they have a plan to root out the traitors and conspirators and find and save their mother. Leo is called in by Prime Nial to help protect the women and he is awakened by Trinity and immediately knows she is his mate. He knows there is more going on but the women are not talking but their are assassins after them and they are dealing with Trinity's ardor as well. Then it becomes clear that they are royalty and the sisters split up with different plans and Trinity is front and center with the attention and being the princess holding her mom's throne and trying to find the assassin and traitor and they definitely have some work cut out for them. I really enjoyed the way that Trinity and Leo built their relationship and learned about each other in the midst of everything going on and finding the balance of Trinity being strong and independent and determined while Leo wants to protect her and keep her safe. They have to balance her being the princess and needing to keep her sisters safe and locate her mom and the traitors while allowing Leo to protect her and be there for her and have input. I can't wait for the next one and seeing what the other two sisters have gotten into.
The narrator did a good job with the story as well and bringing the characters to life and the action that was happening.

Loved it!

I loved this book! I can’t wait for more on the other sisters. The female mc wasn’t weak or whiny and her romance with Leo gave me all the butterflies. All the yes!
