Publisher's summary
Sarah Crawford exemplifies what it means to be successful. She has mastered the art of navigating the business world with poise and persistence thanks to her position as a top-ranking sales director at a prominent worldwide company. However, her world of boardrooms and high-stakes negotiations could never have adequately prepared her for what awaited her on a straightforward weekend excursion to the picturesque coast of Sicily.
When Sarah's tour bus is kidnapped by a group of violent Sicilian Mafia members commanded by the mysterious Anthony Russo, her vacation, which was supposed to be a brief break from the pressures of the corporate world, takes an unexpectedly perilous turn. Sarah is thrown into a dangerous game in which the stakes are not just profit margins but lives, which is a world different from the corporate sales methods that she is used to.
Anthony Russo is a man whose character was shaped through exposure to brutality and power. As a high-ranking member of the Mafia organization that his family runs, he spends his life hidden away in the shadows. In this world, loyalty is everything, and treachery is greeted with the death penalty. On the other hand, when he meets Sarah, he experiences a change on the inside. Because of her bravery, her unending energy, and a strength that is even comparable to his own, he is completely taken aback by her.
As the scene continues to deteriorate, the jaded Mafioso finds himself involved in feelings that he has never experienced before. A relationship that shouldn't exist begins to develop in the midst of peril and harsh conflicts. A love that has no place in their very different worlds starts to develop, and it threatens to upend all that they know to be true about their lives.
The setting for their love tale is Sicily, where every sunset paints a picture of desire and every morning could possibly announce peril. Their love story develops under the skies of Sicily. The issue that has to be answered is whether or not their love will triumph over the great contrasts that exist in their lives, overcoming all that is placed in its path, or whether or not it will become another victim of the ever-turning wheel of destiny. The narrative of their relationship is more than simply a love story; it is also a demonstration of the indomitable strength of the human spirit in the face of hardship.
You are cordially invited into Sarah Crawford and Anthony Russo's universe, which is one in which love may be the riskiest game of all but also the one with the most potential for profit. The following is their narrative, which is rife with peril, brimming with ardor, and seasoned with the mouthwatering flavor of forbidden love.

Now, I’m the grumpy to Juliet’s sunshine on a popular dating podcast we host, and when a wealthy fan gives us a charming coastal cottage as the biggest thank you ever, we head to the town where I grew up to give it a makeover. And find the house has only one bed. Located under a mirrored ceiling.

Story
Beckett: If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. And here’s the kicker: there’s something else you don’t know that’s tearing her family apart.
