Undercover Assignment
From USA Today best-selling author Dana Mentink, this K-9 will stop at nothing to keep a child safe.

When a little boy is threatened, Officer Daniella Vargas and K-9 partner Zara are assigned to pose as his nanny to uncover the culprit’s identity. Suspecting one of the guests in his inn, widower Sam Kavanaugh’s only option is to begrudgingly trust Daniella and Zara to help. But can they solve the case and its mysterious connection to Sam’s late wife before it’s too late?

Defending from Danger
This K-9 has a sanctuary to protect...and its owner to rescue.

Someone wants Paige Bristow’s wolf sanctuary gone…and Paige dead. Officer Reece Campbell and his K-9 partner, Maverick, are the only ones she can turn to, but she never told him he was the father of her daughter. As the attacks escalate, Reece must uncover the perp and keep himself from falling for Paige all over again. But will the truth between them cost everything?

Tracking a Killer
Can an officer and her furry partner survive a killer and the wilderness?

When Rocky Mountain K-9 officer Harlow Zane and her cadaver dog, Nell, join the search for a serial killer, the last thing she expects is that she’ll draw the killer’s obsessive attention. But her former academy rival, FBI Special Agent Wes Grey, notices she matches the victim profile. After another look-alike goes missing, they must work together to catch the criminal…before Harlow’s the next to disappear.

Very entertaining

I really enjoyed listening to all three of the stories in this book, and lastly Danger & Tracking a Killer.

Typical

The first two books were more interesting than the last one. The last one had the “you’ve got to be kidding” sense as the police/FBI make constant stupid decisions to prolong the book and the bad guy getting away over and over. Very predictable.

Narration.

The stories of all three books were interesting. Enjoyed the first and third books. But the narrator was soooo bad in the Second, Defending from Danger, that I barely finished. The entire book sounded whispery and Creepy and it was like nails on a chalkboard to listen to it.
