Very Confirming

In my research I've encountered many opinions, ideologies, philosophies and stigmatism; but this book has been inspiring and a great asset to my studies. It connected lots of dots and also creates a sense of hope for those of us who still walk in the spirit of love and peace. Thank you!

The most important book on narcissism out there!

I have read them all but this book is the only one that looks at the issue professionally, doesn’t demonise yet offers clear understanding and help to those engaging with people with narcissistic personality traits. It has been such a relief to read and be able to uncover so many confusing issues. I feel like a huge stone has been lifted from my heart. Thank You! Acceptance is one thing but understanding represents a whole new level.

Most helpful book on this subject!

Most compassionate read on the subject I have found so far, as someone with loved NPDs in my life, I appreciate the tone of helping understand their pain and the tools provided here to still love them and not loose myself. Thank you!

thank you for writing this book.

our popular understanding has become a so demonizing of people with narcissism. this needs to be hears by people who have a narcissist in their life. and people need to not tolerate abusive behavior. itw obvious this book was written to counter the popular notion that narcissists are demons from hell, and so I think it leans a little too far in the direction of perhaps tolerating demeaning, devaluing, manipulative, and sometimes abusive treatment from a someone with NPD. I suggest following the author's YouTube channel as well.

A Fair Treatment

This book provides a fair treatment of the subject matter. The author addresses narcissism as a personality trait. And he does this without accusing everyone with some narcissistic behaviors as an abuser. He also provides some good insight into changing that behavior.

Great use of real world examples

I really like the inclusion of real world examples, and multiple different scenarios that one could experience a narcissist or behave like a narcissist. I also like the notion that narcissism exists on a spectrum, and that healthy level of confidence can be needed in certain circumstances. This was a very good book to listen to, and there’s opportunities to go deeper into the psychological workings of a narcissist, but the key points were well elaborated on. Great recommendation to those that encounter narcissist and need some practical solutions to navigate such complex characteristics.

Weird Voice but Excellent Book

The narrator’s voice is oddly husky, and could’ve been a voice for a villain in a cartoon. It’s not the worst to listen to, but it’s just a little bit surprising at first. The book, however, has excellent recommendations and insight into narcissism, and how to deal with narcissism in a way that doesn’t demonize a person with narcissistic tendencies or narcissistic personality disorder, but instead views the narcissist, as a sick person who needs help. It’s a nice way to recognize that the person who you’re dealing with is not all that or all good they just are and they have a problem that can be dealt with.
