So very helpful in connecting dots

INVALUABLE INSIGHT
My supervisor recommended & let me borrow paper copies but with my busy schedule I opted to listen via audible.

This book seems very surface level

I was hoping for a lot more from this title, however the content is very surface level. In this, I mean that there are no groundbreaking truths or strategies that you’ll pull from this book. Instead, you will be left with generic ideas and values.

Performance is bad

I love Maxwell books, and this one was no exception from a content perspective. However, listening to it became intolerable by Chapter 2. It felt like I was being talked to like I was a toddler. The voice inflection seemed practiced and forced. Yuck!

Maxwell’s stories are always valid and applicable.

This narrator is awful. I know it’s not John but the lack of inflection and so much monotone is unbearable and does not represent the message. I’m going to the book.
