Very uplifting!

I loved this book and all the ways the characters grew by their interactions with books and other people. I left feeling happy and energized.

Good stories some bad readers

The stories were enjoyable as were some readers. Others were terrible, reading with an unbearable falsetto for all the women.

Thought provoking

I really enjoyed the individual stories and how they tied together. They have actually given me some thoughts on things in my own work life. Only one story could have had a slightly better narrator which threw off the consistency with the “librarian” but I truly enjoyed the book very much and wouldn’t let that deter you from listening. A unique concept and one that I hope to see more stories from in the future. Always good things to be found in the library.

Wonderful stories about the transitions in life

Loved these simple but profound stories that convey cooperation, trust, communication and living in the present. Told through humble experiences and a little magic at the library. I took off one star for narration because the 3rd story was a bit off putting to listen to but story still good. This is a feel good listen I recommend.

Some accents were difficult for me to understand at times but the content is amazing and worth rewinding to understand.

Attainable Philosophy

Similar to the way historical fiction makes an historic event more interesting, the stories of the librarian, and her pets make the dispensed philosophy attainable. Excellent story!

Perspective

Interesting read. If we choose to look at life and what happens in our life through a different angle or walk sideways as the crab, we will get a new perspective and direction. Thoroughly enjoyed this read.
