Hope the second one is better

Love Abbie Glines but the worst in series! But still worth the listen.
Hopefully the conclusion will make it worth it more!

Uhg! A cliffhanger! And now we wait...

A have adores every single Rosemary Beach novel and can not wait for the next one!! Although I prefer the previous narrators who did a fabulous job thus far with the series, Grace Grant who I didn't care for in other novels did an ok job. And now I wait for the next in this fabulous series, hurry up already Abbi Glines!!

So awesome

I love have a male and female narrator it makes the story that much better. This was the best story, I love Mase. Reese is very sweet and I cannot wait to hear the rest of the story!!

Tragic Past

Mase Colt-Manning & Reese Ellis

When we are first introduced to Mase, I admit I swooned. He is like the best big brother ever. And he was soooo protective... I just loved that.

So when we meet Reese and her past is haunting I was so glad she get Mase as a love interest if anyone deserves to have someone protect her its Reese.

Being a rock stars offspring isn’t easy but I don’t get the feeling Mase ever let it bother him too much, he has a great Momma and he has a great stepdad. So I don’t think he ever understood what a hard home life is like.

Reese on the other hand, I shudder to understand the hell she lived through. And to still be such a beautiful soul is amazing.

The way she meets Mase was funny and makes me smile even now. I can understand her a lot in this book how she struggled to trust. She hasn’t known kindness, so she doesn’t know how to act.

This book is a great addition to this series. These cliff-hangers though.. even the second time around and knowing I can go right into the next book... I still want to shake my fist at Abbi. Lmao...

Wow

The prologue will make your heart ache and your anger flare. But Mace and Reese are the sweetness to soothe away the sad feelings and inspire smiles and gladness that will leave you wanting more.

Fun and Fast!

Any additional comments?

So I have read this whole series and have really enjoyed it so far. And yes all of the couples are sort of Insta-love but not in your face. This one was a little to insta-love for me and that would have really bothered me especially when I realized how fast everything is moving and getting resolved until I saw the next book is a continuation of this story. That made me enjoy the book more knowing we would get to know more about these characters. I really like the narrators that were used for this book both Grace Grant and Jason Carpenter did a really good job. I hope they continue to use them for this series. I am definitely looking forward to the next book. On a side note I know that Nan is supposed to be a real BITCH but it's almost hard to believe she is a real person anymore with all the nasty stuff she does! I cringe every time she is in a scene. I think she is being made unrealistic at this point and since she is getting her own book (number 14) I think that her evil might need to be toned down a little or I am going to have a hard time giving a shit about her story.

My first trip to Rosemary Beach

This is the only book I've read from this series and I enjoyed it. But it didn't fill me with the need to go back and read the other books in the series. I thought the narrators did a good job, but why can't the male narrator just read the male characters and likewise with the female? That notwithstanding, I loved the intensity of the male lead and the openness of the female lead. Stories that keep the characters on a merry-go-round for 3/4 of the book because each one is afraid to be honest with the other is just tedious. Sweet romance novel but not a thriller.

LOVED THIS ONE!!

This story broke my heart from the very beginning and Mase's and Reese's love put it all back together!!!! Aside from a few dramatic stretches in a few areas of the story, it's definitely one of my favorite Abbi Glines books. Can't wait to see what happens next; I highly recommend this one!

Holy Crap! I DID NOT see that coming!

Any additional comments?

Narration - Grace Grant, Jason Carpenter - Kick Ass!

Really Good narration. Dual POV, They are both great story tellers and can do either gender exceptionally well!

As for the book. I suppose some will find it a little syrupy and yes, it follows the typical romance format, but I just loved it and love this couple. Love the whole series.

My thoughts on the ending?

Holy Crap! Did NOT see that coming.

That is all.
