Enlightening!

I really loved the story line because it exposed the truth of sibling rivalry when it comes to money! I especially like "Marge" because with love she did not cater to her childrens selfishness and yet without malice she rewarded the deserving one. Also, I admired how she accepted death with grace and dignity. She reminds me alot of myself with my relationship with my children........ I never sugarcoat anything! As for the narrator, I can listen to anything Caroline Clay reads........... she is my favorite!

Dysfunctional family at its best

I enjoyed this story. The family dynamics were very interesting. The secrets that the two older siblings held were odd but realistic. We never truly know what those around us may be going through. Gwynne Forster did a great job at showing that we are all sooo much more than what people see. I enjoyed learning the complexities of these individuals. And they had a wise and thoughtful mother. I liked Marge very much. Good story and great narration by Caroline Clay.

Everything that looks like gold, isn't.

This book takes an in depth look at a real life situation. When the matriarch of the family becomes ill, the strain of it and the dynamics about the family is revealed. The loyalty of friendship is more endearing than actual kinship. The lessons of intimacy vs the physical is examined and a powerful lesson is learned by the self centered children.

Caroline Clay one of my favorite narrators unfolds the story. I picked this book because I enjoy Caroline's voice, and then I became impressed with the author Gwynn Forster and became a big fan.

When Twilight Comes

By Arlena (Broken Arrow, OK, United States)

I found When Twilight Comes to be warm, loving , patience and most kind. From the mother, three children and friends all made this story simply wonderful. I would highly recommed this audible to all and I am sure you will love it too. I believe Gwynne Forster did a wonderful job with this story.
