Secrets of the heart

Most of the book was very difficult to read because of all of the ugliness but the truths it revealed were worth the pain. Only the Lord knows our longings and sighings. Only He knows what makes us act and react the way we do. People are not mind readers and can’t understand our hearts unless we are brave enough to let them in.

Enjoyed, but slow middle

love the characters at times a little too true to life. I would recommend this book to a friend.

Scripture

This was a real tearjerker. I couldn’t wait ‘till the end to see how they solved their issues.

Misleading faith

Dear Reader,
This book is about a woman that is questioning her marriage. She spends time alone with another man from her past. This is misleading in that because she doesn't fall to the temptation it's not in the Godly person's best interest to play with fire. When God makes a way of escape we have to be willing for God's ways. Being a faithful wife is not only not sleeping with other men but also not giving your husband reason to question your faithfulness. I hope anyone reading this doesn't get the idea that if we place ourselves in compromising situations that God will help us if we pray. There are certain places it's better not to go. She wanted to be tempted. She wanted to fall. This book is a fairytale. Good narrator. Not up to Karen's typical inspirational form.
