I've been enjoying this series, but

this book tended towards the trite. Still it's a quick listen and moves a little distance along the story arc. I listened to it as part of Kindle Unlimited so I'm not as unhappy as I would have been if I'd paid for it and it was permanently a party of my library. in that case I'd have been tempted to return it.

Just keep getting better

Follows the series well, looks like another love story in the making. Read well. Getting better.

Whisper of Bones

I am enjoying this series of novellas, especially since I am listening to them in audio! This one is about a body that washes up on the beach. Turns out this body was dead for hours prior to being put in the water. Turns out he is a contractor and there are lots of twists and turns and then an arson added in. More insights into Tessa, Logan, Cate and Henry (the local doctor/coroner) and getting closer to knowing what happened to their missing friend Samantha. Definitely looking forward to the next book!

Good suspense

This book has an enjoyable setting and enjoyable characters. The suspense is good. The narration is good but not as enjoyable for me as some.

Thrills, Fear, and Finding True Love

As usual, Leigh writes an excellent mystery with clues you really need to watch for if you really want to test your sleuthing skills. Also as usual, Leigh writes a powerful and intense romantic component.

good story. a little short

I really like this author and this series and characters. the narration could have been more varied with voice changes. overall, good.

I just couldn't get into this one

I love the series just not this story. Maybe it was too short and that is why I was not vested in it

Who didn’t do it?

The investigation into this guy’s death unearths so many people who didn’t like him it’s hard to find the killer. Tessa and Logan work well together and learn more about their budding relationship.

Enjoying the series

I've enjoyed listening to the stories. I like the that wrote the book you're still learning about the main characters their lives and their relationship if not just call about the crime. one thing that does bother me is there's a lot of retelling in each book about things we've already heard in the previous book. I don't mind short synopsis of previous information but it seems to get drawn out longer and longer each book. on to the next book...
