Honestly I'm not sure what to make of this story and it feels written by AI.
I come to this conclusion because there is information introduced that makes no sense, scenes don't match up to what is happening in the story, and the characters are not showing initial character traits.
In the end I stopped listening half way through chapter 9. I really feel this story needs to be rewritten by the author because it could be good whether as a single or dual POV story, but as it is I find it barely readable.
