These Whispers Roar in an Epic Finale

This review is not as flashy or elegant as my other ones even though this book deserves the praise. With this being the sweeping finale of a nine book series, it will be hard not to spoil anything,

Seeing how all the characters come together for the final conflict battle is well worth the wait. Although, personally, I felt the resolution came out of no where. Some storylines were more clean than others. With fourteen characters POVs alone, I can understand there is a lot to wrap up.

Sinjin and Brin I feel had the best arc when it comes to a satisfying completion.
My heart goes out to Mores.
The Queen’s love triangle is very conflicting to my heart, especially with our opening twist with the series main baddie.
Still love Emma, I would love a series of her and Stone! Or Emma finishing her time at the magical academy; I miss that place.
Rowan’s story went differently than how I would have liked, but she’s a great girl.
Nyx and Pagon still have the spark.
And Odrin, although not in it much, is a hoot! I want a book with him too!

I will say, some of the writing and wording in this one, especially the first few chapters, was overly dragged out and had more talking/explication where showing could have been more effective.

I could have easily seen this been explored more in one more book so the training for the final battle could be more fleshed out. These characters are BA warriors and deserve to show it more.

The true gem of this audiobook series was Logan Anare and how he brought this story to life with his array of emotions, bountiful accents that transport you into this word, and connecting to the characters to the point you feel you know them. Ms. Mallory knew he was the only one for this job.

All in all, this was a great book, a great series, and great adventure with memorable characters,
