About this listen

Learn everything you need to know about Wicca and aligning yourself with the natural world.

This book is going to show you the charming and beautiful beliefs of Wicca and how you can learn to embody them in your daily life.

This book is a great start for anyone who would like to learn more about the Wicca religion and the real beliefs and rituals they practice. It contains practical advice throughout the book to help bring these beliefs, rituals and spells into all aspects of your life.

It would certainly be sufficient to say that Wicca is certainly not what you see in any of the Harry Potter movies, or read in the books. There are no fireballs and magic sparks and no one in the Wicca community is going to be able to teach you how to transfigure a rat into a tea cup. Wicca is not about sparks and explosions, not at all. It is far more about reconnecting with the true nature of the universe and, when you are able to achieve that you will, through that alignment, be able to make ripples within the oceans of space and time.

Fantastic Introduction

Both the narration and wording of this super relatable beginners guide to the Wiccan religion are entertaining and lend themselves to holding your attention. This taste of Wicca grabs you firmly by the hand and gently by the face offering the history of its origins, core principles on which the religion is based and some simple ways one can incorporate wicca into their own life. That being said what I enjoyed and found most entertaining was the time and tone lended to comparing Wiccan's and Wicca's place in the world. It discusses Wicca in terms of nature but more notably compares and contrasts the principles and practices to other more popular religions. Eh...em shade...thrown lol. This was an easy listen and a great catalyst for rousing conversation, or introspection.

Book Was Good, Narration was the Best Part

Would you listen to Wicca for Beginners again? Why?

I learned all I wanted to know about Wicca, so I'm good.

What about Taj Shareef’s performance did you like?

This was the best audiobook narrator I have heard so far during my time on audible. His voice is smooth, deep, and soothing and he reads with inflection that makes it sound so natural while other narrators sound like robots. I hope to come across other books he has narrated.
