About this listen

Sun Valley High. It's more than a school; it's a battlefield, and this year, it's mine.

They say the Devils rule these halls, and now I've caught the eye of the most enigmatic one: The Devil himself, Roman Valdez.

Football star. Ruthless strategist. Cold-hearted player in every sense of the word. To him, I'm just a challenge, a new girl to conquer. But he doesn't know me, doesn't know what I've endured. He's about to find out.

I'm not just another mindless follower swayed by Roman's smoldering good looks and devilish charm. I've faced tragedy, loss, and battles that have forged me into a fighter. Roman thinks he can play me? He's got another thing coming.

Our relationship becomes a twisted game of desire and defiance, love and loathing. The tension between us simmers, and as it does, a shadow looms, threatening to engulf us both.

Can the Devil of Sun Valley High be my salvation? Or will I be the one girl who brings him to his knees?

Wicked Devil

Wicked Devil is the first book in the Devils of Sun Valley High series. This book is told from dual points of view from Roman and Alejandra (Allie). This book is dark and has a trigger warning, so readers should be warned.

Allie just moved in with her father who she didn't know existed after her mother died. It is her senior year of high school, and she just wants to get through school to get back to her old friends and life. She starts at Sun Valley High School and on her first day she gets paired with Roman. Roman is supposed to show her around the school. He thinks she's a rich princess and wants her to know that she won't run the school. He and his two friends are the head of the school and run everyone. The more time he spends with Allie he starts to fall for her. Allie falls for Roman as well.

However something traumatic happens to Allie. Roman doesn't know because she hid it from everyone. So Roman treats her very mean. Roman's dad was the one who found Allie, and later when Allie is in trouble again he puts two and two together about how his son knows Allie. At the end can Roman be there for Allie when she needs him? Can Allie trust Roman again?

This book was great! I really enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next book in the series. I really like the new version with dual narrators!

READ THE TRIGGERS

Well, this book was really enticing. It threw me off when I don’t ever read the triggers. As I was almost finished with the book they throw in a huge curveball. UGH, bit dramatic but most people are

Good Story_Trigger Warnings

This story broke my heart and made me so angry and sad. Good Story, Narration on point, I just truly hope the next book in
this series will have the TRASH PUT in BIN.
Trigger’s: Rape, Food Disorder, Mental disease etc.
hate Sylvia and Sarah, Hope they get theirs.

Not what I was expecting

I was expecting a typical spicy enemies to lovers romance with the typical conflict. But I was completely wrong. This took a turn where I was NOT expecting. I finished listening to this in one sitting.

TW: Gratuitous SA that went on for way to long

This story had my very favorite enemies to lovers trope where the hea was earned instead of just given. I had all the emotions listening to this book. There was real tears and real laughter. That being said I gave it three stars because the overly descriptive sa scene went on for way too long to be anything but real life triggering. If you can listen to that sort of thing without summoning your own trauma then this story is a solid five out of five.
