Wow Hot PO PO and Wilding whirlwind!

I liked the narrators of Wild Heat. I also like the interaction of the characters of other books in the series. Terra’s photos bridged a gap in the perception of a people in Seattle. Kaden, the cop who protects and serves on the streets of Seattle is now looking after Terra, because the wolf hunter wants her now. Look forward to more in this series.

It gets a bit muddled.

I enjoy this author for her various women leads. The stories normally flow into eachother blending well. This one lacked a bit of other character feature to tie in some of the magick. Doesn't make it bad at all.
At one point I think the voice actress may have had a cold because it sounded a bit nasal. Idk. I also do not like when the other male wolves spund whiney.
THESE are very small critiques in the overall book.
The story line is great. This woman lead is okay. not my favorite. but enjoyable. a bit like a inbtw episode. hoping the next book is better.unfortunate because the woman wolf was one I wanted to wholeheartedly enjoy.

Wonderful Story

I have really enjoyed listening to these shifter books. They are erotic and hot. There is action and romance. It was hard to stop listening at night when I needed to go to sleep.

Meh, it's alright

This book, in the series, is annoyingly predictable. Oh well. It's worthy of checking out in the Romance pAckage. However, I'm not sure It's worth purchasing or the cost of a credit.

Fun!

Action packed just like the rest if you can withstand Terra's too-stupid-to-live moment!

It's weird that the fact that Kaden and Terra might be related is not addressed in any kind of way. How does that work? Can your true mate be a close blood relative? Looks like a pretty serious oversight/ omission.

Terra gets her mate

Interesting twist in the overall Wilding storyline.

Listened the the audio version. Malr narrator was ok. Female narrator sound like she had stuffed sinuses which detracted from the story a bit.

couldn't finish book, but am so done with series

I read through the River pack books and got halfway through this book. At first I really enjoyed them. The writing wasn't perfect, and some of the various narrators were a challenge (the female one in this book sounds like she has a cold, for example), but the sex scenes were hot and the characters interesting. But they began to devolve in the Wilding series - the heroes getting a little dumber, the heroines more and more childlike in behavior. The author is clearly not a strategic thinker and so many times I yelled at rhe characters for doing something dumb, especially since they're supposed to be military or in this book a cop.

This one just frustrated me to the point where I don't want to read more, even to figure out who the big bad is. Tara can't seem to think ahead more than 5 seconds, doing stupid things that would easily get her killed. She's supposed to be wild and unpredictable, but she seems more unstable and thoughtless to me. Then Caden is supposed to be protective - which we are told over and over - but he's actually a controlling, possessive jerk with serious bias against shifters. We don't see him changing or growing his understanding in this, just being hot for Tara. I just am done. It's a shame because some parts of this series were really not bad at all, especially at the beginning.

The h was selfish, spoiled, whiney, and too stupid to live!

1. She fights protection when there is a direct threat against her.

2. She meets with a guy the day after she goes into protective custody because he wants to have him take photos for her. The guy is all about wolves? Red Flag maybe??? He even says that she needs to be careful BUT HE WAS THE ONE WHO GOT HER TO LEAVE PROTECTIVE CUSTODY TO MEET ABOUT SOMETHING THAT COULD HAVE WAITED!

3. She gets mad at the H, gets a call from the creepy wolf crazy dude who convinces her to sneak out to meet with him. Once she gets there, he starts asking red flag questions and she now knows he has vast knowledge about wolves. She is concerned but still thinks he is harmless.

4. He calls her again and wants her to sneak away from her protective detail so he can show her his 'private collection' Gasp... Another massive red flag. She takes the H but convinces him to wait outside the door... Where she is subsequently drugged and captured, then comes to with the villain naked over her while she is tied - clothed - to a chair.

5. Apparently she forgot about her mind link to the H so she waits for a moment to shout a warning to the H. If she used her mind link, she could have given him detailed information before he went into the danger zone.

I enjoyed the first two books in the series and hope that the next book has a better h!

The sex was explicit and well done. I agree with some other reviewers that the spanking took away from the overall heat.

The H - 9/10
The h - 2/10
