About this listen
Erin Hunter’s #1 bestselling Warriors series continues! Discover more epic adventure in this fifth book in the Starless Clan arc.
Frostpaw has returned to the lake just in time to reveal all she knows at the Gathering—but the Clans are reluctant to believe an apprentice who’s already admitted to lying about her visions in the past, and she is forced to take refuge in ShadowClan as Splashtail seizes control of her home.
While the other Clan leaders debate whether to interfere any further in RiverClan affairs, Nightheart has his paws full teaching Clan ways to the two park cats who followed him home, and Sunbeam’s efforts to fit in as the newest member of ThunderClan are hampered by her concerns for her mother, who is paying for her treachery with exile and illness.
As Berryheart’s schemes take an alarming new turn—and Splashtail’s ambitions turn toward violence—a few cats’ efforts may not be enough to preserve the peace.

Story
As Leafbare approaches, a new danger threatens the Clans. Twoleg construction has encroached on Clan territory, poisoning the stream and making prey especially scarce for SkyClan. Meanwhile, their leader, Leafstar, is struggling with a loss of vision while trying to maintain authority over a Clan that increasingly doubts her ability to lead. In ShadowClan, Tawnypelt senses peril as the Twoleg construction threatens the Moonpool, but she can’t get any cat, especially her son, TigerStar, to listen.

Good
Lord of drama and excitement, truly loved this book!!
I recommend it if you would like to see what else would unfold in this new series. It has the perspective of a Riverclan cat, and Riverclan never gets enough love.

Unimaginable!
The story was basically flawless! It got me captivated that I feel like I was a clan cat myself! I'm glad that Frostpaw and Nightheart came back okay with some useful info. The problem is that the clans would even believe her at all. Splashtail is like all the old villains combined together! Tigerstar, Brokenstar, Darktail, Ashfur— you name it! He should definitely take acting as a career. I think the best strategy for now is to wait for Riverclan to make its first move. Well, it already did, from what you've listened to at the end, but there is no doubt there would be another war in the next and last book. I hope Mothwing, Duskfur, and Icewing are alright. Why does Ms. Erin Hunter loves to write cliffhangers? Who do you support?
May Starclan Light your path.
Eaglefeather the bookwanderer
P.S. The title of all the books had been names of the five clans. Which clan is left? Starclan! So I bet the next book's name is Star.

Calm before storm it seems.
The Book was overall filler for the finale, I feel. It seems like from the last book everything was ready to be wrapped up but because of the 6 book formula all arcs follow they had to stretch this out longer, but it wasn't as bad as you'd think. This allowed to really spend time with the characters, hang out and just exist with them for a moment since next book will undoubtedly be a whirlwind of intense action against Splashtail. I liked Wafflepaw and what he added to the story being the new recruit to Thunderclan and I enjoyed Frostpaws quest to prove herself reliable to the other clans. Sunbeam had the least to do in this book since she's hanging out in the same place as Nightheart is but I still enjoyed seeing her try to help her strugglig family any way she could. And it was great to see Nightheart come into his own and be a noble cat that seems to be carving out his own legacy separate from Firestar. Overall a good time with MacCleoud's performance as Splashtail at the end being standout to me. He made him a much scarier villain than he otherwise would be. Overall a good book to tie over until the finale.

The action.
The story was the best yet, but the quality of the narrator's recording could have been better.

Mcleod’s voice changed a bit
I love the book and the narration but when I first started the book I thought a new person was narrating it. Then I realized it was McLeod Andrews so I guess his voice changed a bit but he still has the same performance. The book is Also good really enjoying it so far a bit suspenseful so yeah.
