Publisher's summary

Includes a brief preview of Bound by Cynthia Dane & Hildred Billings.

Attraction has nothing to do with it. Until it does.

Nicole Delaney

Down-on-her-luck heiress Nicole Delaney can't take another hit. First, her dad dies, leaving in his wake a million debts that wipe out the family coffers. As if that wasn't bad enough, she now lives in a cramped downtown apartment with her mother. No privacy, and no money!

Only thing worse? Her professors in her fashion school telling her to pick a new job!

Nicole is simultaneously too old to rely on her sickly mother and also too young to have a real chance to free herself from this unfortunate situation. So what does her mother do?

She calls the matchmaker. Surely, there's some rich guy out there looking for a hot, young wife....

Jenny Bishop

The once-homeless Jenny Bishop now has it all: a bustling business as a fashion designer, enough money to keep her housed and fed for life, and access to everything she couldn't have as a foster kid.

Except there's one thing missing: a family.

Whether broke or investing millions back into her business, Jenny continues to search for that elusive family she's always dreamed of having. When time gets in the way of traditional dating, she hits up a matchmaker with the hopes there's one woman out there willing to wed a lesbian like her.

Two rings to rule their hearts

Nicole only agrees to marry Jenny to get her money, but what quickly unfolds is a genuine attraction that blindsides the formerly frigid Nicole and blinds Jenny to the logical solutions she desires. How can they think about a logical marriage of convenience when they're too busy jetting off to Hawaii for inspiration and... "inspiration"?

Too bad, because one of the nastiest women to ever play with a billion dollars is on a mission to destroy their blossoming love. So much for that June wedding and honeymoon in Hawaii!

50/50

The story was good, the characters were good, the narrator’s reading voice was good, but the voicing of the characters? Uuuggghhh took me quite a while to push through to the end. The only thing that kept me listening was that the storyline was good, but I cringed with the voices that sounded like a nagging scream!! The two authors have some interesting books out and I’m still listening to them as I go, but sometimes the narrator is a big factor of if I buy or pass! I work a lot so I LISTEN to audiobooks as opposed to reading them now.

Ringng an heiress

Just because your were one rich doesn't mean anything, and having money to be rich enough to have a dream. Life is not always fair, but if you find a love when expecting to be matched up is a great bonus.

Needed a few changes

I liked the overall story and especially the ending. I didn’t like that not one of the cover models was blond despite a main character constant being referred to as such. There was a terrible overuse of the word fiancé instead of using the names of the characters. I got a bit weary of that. I think without that it would’ve been much better for me

Arranged Marriage

Jenny Bishop needs a wife. She wants to start a family and have a home. Nicole Delaney and her mother are out of luck as her father’s death left them with a pile of debts and no money. When Jenny calls a matchmaker and Linda Delaney seeks a match for her daughter fate intervened. Sparks, romance and a evil witch lead to a chance at happiness. Recommend.

Great book!!

This is a first time listen from these authors and I wasn't disappointed. The characters were very quirky and funny, I really enjoyed them. The narrator did a great job as well. She voiced one of the characters so well. Her tone grated on my nerves and that's exactly what the character made me feel too, so great job there. Overall, a great book. I look forward to many more experiences with these authors!

Loved the story line

This was a good read, with some surprises on the way. Stacy Hinkle is a good narrator but she gave some characters a very childish voice and I didn’t care for that.

Goes to show that you can make it if you try.

Liked the way almost everyone had to struggle to make something of themselves. It's a hard life, but you can do it.

seriously

How did this book become published? These characters are so cliche and have zero personality. It makes me want to write novel so that there is better representation out there!
