Such a great piece of history and an enjoyable story

I really enjoyed the story and look at history. The author is enjoyable, and the reader is easy to listen to.

Good story!

It started off a little slow, but really picked up and turned into one of my favorite stories:)

narrator was great. loved it. what a skilled and gifted lady. thank you for making this story come alive.
the story was so fun. kept my interest through out.
loved how history, mystery, romance and faith in Christ we're all interwoven.

Great ending

So it was a good story but not what I expected, I’m not much into crime dramas nor did an expect one from this author. I liked how the story line tied in at the end but just beware that this is not her normal story theme

Lynn Austin did it again

Another fascinating story by Lynn Austin, The story took you to so many places from Chicago to the hills of Kentucky and in so many lives. The performance of the story everything about this book was amazing and it was so hard to put down. Looking forward to the next book by this author

A new favorite!

I am so glad I chose Wonderland Creek for my most recent Audible listen! What a great story! I wanted to listen again as soon as I finished it! All the characters were vivid and the story was great with a mix of adventure, romance, valuable lessons, beautiful descriptions, and mystery! LYNN Austin is an excellent writer and may be a new favorite!!!

Wonderful Wonderland Creek

The first chapter or two didn't exactly grab me. The subject wasn't familiar to me. I hadn't read much about The Depression. My Mom had shared a bit about it -- how hard things were, etc., but that's about it. But before I knew it though, I was captured by the story -- hook, line and sinker. The characters each had their own backstory enriching the main storyline. The whole thing just worked for me! Kate Forbes' performance was really outstanding and Lynn Austin never disappoints. Loved it!

Great listening

I love this book because it’s an easy listen and it’s full of adventure and love . I was surprised that Alison didn’t stay at Wonderland Creek but still a happy ending.

Historical fiction at it's best

I loved this story, and not just because I am a librarian. The plot has suspense, romance, troubled questions about future plans and God, faith, etc. The characters were vivid and unpredictable, a rare thing indeed. The audible production was well done with all the accents and everything. I look forward to reading all that this author has done.

Wonderland Creek was wonderful!

I loved this book so i read it twice. It’s rare to find a Book that makes you laugh and is still deeply meaningful. There are definitely Christian overtones but, as the theme was timeless, nothing that should put anybody off. The storyline was unexpected and there was a great ending. What could be better?
