Sanderson continues the development from book 1
Book 1 had a lot of character development and was very much the beginning book of the series, however, there is so much that Sanderson wants to develop that even after the lengthy 1st book he continues with this book. This book continues to introduce characters and back stories that made the whole thing much richer to listen to. Words of Radiance continued on the introduction that book 1 made and then gave a slight nudge to the middle portion of the story. Really good book and the length makes it such a bargain. It's like 3 or 4 books for 1 credit.

Fantastic story read by the best in the buisness.
Michael Kramer and Kate Reading are my favorite narrators since I listened to the Wheel of Time series, which is also how I originally discovered Brandon Sanderson and his amazing worlds.

Dunno. I've only experienced the audio version.
