So good. This book had suspense and clean romance. Would love a second book in the series.

This was a wonderfully written book. I loved the weaving together of stories and lives!

Great Book

I really enjoyed this book. My favorite parts were the backstory. I was so intrigued, I skipped through the chapters to find out what happened. Then I went back and listened to the rest of the story. The rest of the story was good but not as compelling. I thought that the author didn’t develop that part of the story as well as the backstory; However it was still a really good book. I hope the author has a sequel planned. The story seems to indicate she does. I love Ms. Whites’s novels. I can’t wait for her next one.

Timeless

What a journey!
I think I have a bit of a book hangover right now. Yesterday’s Tides is an adventure in love and war. Set to back drop of to world changing periods of time, two couples traverse the waters of serving their country in a foreign land while battling their own hearts desires.
This story was beautiful in writing and in the telling. Roseanna M. White and Pilar Witherspoon make a great team in the world of storytelling.

So glad to revisit with old friends!!

Roseanna White’s gift for creating characters, settings and historically based stories has helped me through Covid, the death of a dear family member and cancer. Day and the night, they have provided encouragement as well as a respite from daily battles.

This book enlarged the story setting by including old stories and friends from others books. I was so glad to see Dooley again!

I did have a little trouble following the today and yesterday segments as I was listening to an audiobook. I missed visual clues I might’ve been able to clarify with. Being on the medicine I’m currently taking, was a factor as well. I will enjoy listening again!

Pilar Witherspoon adds her excellence with spot on narration! So important to supporting a setting and bringing it to life!

Thank you for a world I can retreat to and stories with the most important life lessons!

Another great book by Roseanna M. White!

I loved it! I loved how we got to see some old friends again. I loved how the mystery about our heroine's identity unfolded. Wonderful!

Beautiful

The unfolding of this story, with the two timelines, is simply beautiful. I loved seeing some familiar faces, loved the complicity this author always gracefully writes, loved each character. I laughed, I cried. I loved.

this book was so good. kept me on the edge of my seat. loved how it ended.

Strong characters

The story was excellent, and the narrator should be commended for multiple accents. However, as a southerner, I cringed at much of her accent when speaking as North Carolinians. Some rang true, but most were just too exaggerated especially for the more northern state of the south. The characters were memorable and strongly crafted. There were a couple of missteps in the plotline that seemed preposterous and were pretty hard to believe. But an enjoyable listen reminding us how close the Germans came to U.S. soil in WWII.
