Wow !

I wanted to read this book since it came out, but I couldn't afford it. It was better then I thought it would be. Especially since Joel is reading it. I can't wait to listen to his next book. Audio books are the best, you can do other things while listening.

This is my very favorite book so far. Listening to the author made the whole experience worthwhile. This fact influenced my decision to get the book.

Great Book!

This is a wonderful book, and while some folks may not like Joel's Texas accent, I found it to be comforting and REAL. The book gives advice from a supernatural point of view, rather than a prescriptive worldly point of view. If you're open to the idea that God is loving and generous, then this is the book for you. I was absolutely inspired and anxious to listen to it again.

Amazing book, gives you the strengh we all need !

I think is a very interesting perspective for all those who are going through life struggles. It would give you the necessary steps to overcome adversity.

Happiness 101

Joel Osteen walks the reader along the path of growing a very positive "can do " 0vattitude which guides the reader to happiness and success in their life today.

A Feel Good Book

Coming from a very heavily bible-based church I enjoyed this book very much. It conveys the messages from the bible in a very eloquent and positive manner. He takes some of the stories from the bible - like the story of Joseph - and applies them to our life today. If you're not familiar with the story of Joseph, you'll need to look him up in your bible. He uses lots of examples from his own life which make the book enjoyable to listen to. His words are very comforting and inspirational. The book is practical and encourages one to look at every day life at a different perspective - a positive one. I love hearing him read the book. After hearing him, I personally began reading my bible more. I feel his message encourages everyone to become closer to God.
