  • Meet Christopher Dennis: A Journey Through Education and Leadership
    Aug 3 2024

Welcome to On The Way To School, your six-minute daily boost for educators and administrators. I'm Christopher S. Dennis, and today, let's elevate our journey together. In this special "About Me" episode, I'm thrilled to share my personal and professional story with you.

I currently serve as an associate head of school at a K-12 independent school in Los Angeles, California. I'm also a founding consultant of the Campus Culture Group, where we work on innovating and increasing inclusive practices in school management, governance, and culture.

My journey began as a first-generation college graduate and teenage parent, navigating through community college and eventually earning my degree in kinesiology while continuing my football career. From there, I ventured into admissions counseling, student affairs, and diversity and equity roles at various educational institutions across the country.

Now, back in Los Angeles, I am passionate about my role at Campbell Hall, where I engage with the community, teach a history elective, and work with a wide range of stakeholders. Join me on this journey, and let's make our way to school an inspiring and motivating experience. Enjoy the ride!
