  • Electronic device use is a popular sedentary activity in society, particularly in youth, and is associated with anxiety. In this episode, Sarah West, MSEd, APRN, FNP-BC, and Rachael Puszczynski, MSN, FNP-BC, talk with Pediatric Nursing Editor Dr. Judy Rollins, PhD, RN, about the relationship between adolescent screen time and social anxiety.

    Their article, entitled “Screen Time and Social Anxiety in Adolescents,” also coauthored by Tanya Cohn, PhD, MEd, RN, was published in the May/June 2021 issue of Pediatric Nursing and is the winner of the journal’s 2021 Donna Wong Writer’s Award.
