055 | An unexpected reason why introverts feel tired all the time (taking a 2-month break from work) | Season 3

  • Summary

  • A lot of introverts struggle to manage their energy and their time and wish that they had better time management skills. But no matter how well they try to organize their calendar or their morning routine, they’re still feel tired all the time.

In this episode, we talk about an unexpected source that causes many introverts to feel low energy: an internal struggle with the inner critic. You know, that little voice in your head that likes to point out all the things you’re doing wrong.

I was recently reminded of the force of the inner critic when I explored what it would be like to take a 2-months break from work and… all my plans came to a grinding halt!

We rarely talk about the inner critic and can quickly feel like something is wrong with us for having negative thoughts. But, the inner critic is completely normal. Not just for introverts, both introverts and extroverts have negative thoughts.

Watch now to learn more about this. I’ll also share how I decreased my workload so that I could take a 2-month break off work (and how I plan to make this a regular thing), what went well and what didn’t, and what you can do to release guilt and stop negative thoughts when things don’t go according to plan.
