  • Alright, folks, time to dive into the local forecast for 2 Miles South-Southwest of Carter Lake, Iowa.

    Today, expect mostly cloudy skies with a high near 85 degrees. The wind will start calm and later shift to the south around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon.

    Tonight, there's a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 am, with a low around 67 degrees. The wind will be coming from the south-southeast around 5 mph, becoming calm as we head into the evening.

    Looking ahead to Independence Day, we have a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 80 degrees. The wind will be light and variable before becoming west-northwest between 5 to 8 mph, gusting up to 17 mph.
