  • "Never set limits for yourself". Alex Cutulenco (@cutulenco on IG) has gained a lot of attention lately as he is the Toronto runner who ran the entire length of the Toronto subway train line (known by many as the TTC), something that spans almost 100 km and the entire city. In this episode, Alex and I talk about how he got his start in running, how he came up with this seemingly unachievable TTC challenge and why he decided to attempt something that he could very well fail at. He takes us through the whole day of his almost 100 km run - what he ate, how he stayed focused, and we also discuss perseverance and how he leaned on teammates and friends to get him through the tough parts of his epic run. Alex drops some tips on what he thinks runners could do to improve and get faster and we even craft what could be his next challenge (speed climbing the CN tower anyone?).
