  • Losing her beloved babysitter Lisa at age 10, young Amy got thrown into a grief-fueled tailspin that she lives with to this day. Lisa’s violent and untimely death was unspeakable and shrouded in mystery… and meant the loss of not just her babysitter but a dear friend, mentor, and protector. Now well into her adulthood, the haunting and unanswered questions about Lisa’s demise, along with a lack of closure, just compound Amy’s feelings of unfathomable loss.

    Moving into her adulthood, Amy learned to cope with her childhood trauma by intentionally living her life to the fullest, and honoring all that Lisa meant to her as a young girl. Now as a parent, she is determined to help her daughters understand all that Lisa meant to her, and keep her legacy of kindness and healing alive.
