  • Il carcinoma colorettale è la terza neoplasia per incidenza a livello globale. In anni recenti alcuni progressi sono stati osservati grazie allo screening di popolazione e all’introduzione di nuove terapie. Tuttavia - come riportato dal sistema di sorveglianza PASSI del Ministero della Salute - la copertura per lo screening è ancora insufficiente ed è importante anche trovare strumenti più sensibili e specifici e di più facile applicazione.
