  • Welcome to the Gilmer County Fire Rescue Podcast. This is our first episode and it’s a brief introduction into the department and the overall purpose of the podcast. In this episode, Host Will Sergent is joined by Fire Chief Daniel Kauffman.

    The two discuss a little about the plans for the podcast, Chief Kauffman’s background, and the state of the department along with the vision and plans for the future. The two jumps around a few topics to give you an idea of what Gilmer County Fire Rescue is about.

    Chief Kauffman will return for future episodes and will do some “Ask the Chief” segments where you can submit your questions. Submit any questions to gcfrpodcast@gmail.com.
