  • In Step 4: Kingdom, we explore Israel in the promised land of Canaan. We witness the Israelites rebelling against God and Moses during their journey, resulting in a 40-year delay before entering Canaan. Moses reminds the people of the Law given by God and the blessings and curses associated with obedience or disobedience. The people eventually demand a king, and Saul becomes the first king of Israel. However, due to his disobedience, the kingdom is taken from him by God. David, a man after God's heart, becomes the next king and receives new promises from God. Solomon, David's son, becomes the third king and builds the magnificent temple for worship.
