Thank you very much, you can go home now! John老師的朋友去年在歐洲出差時就遇到好幾次車站沒電、三不五時就發生基礎設施問題。有陰謀論說是境外勢力(俄羅斯、北韓)破壞,但也可能只是年久失修。 Eurostar的重要性:像台灣高鐵一樣方便替代方案是搭飛機(要提前兩小時、轉機、拿行李,拖三四個小時)一旦停駛對經濟和人民影響非常大

    Plantation n. – area where trees are planted /crops cultivated by resident labor My mother grew up near rice paddies and bamboo plantations. Plantations of any sort would require a large piece of flat land.
