After being approached about sharing her story with a group of high school students, she began a journey of understanding her chaotic upbringing and what had led her to the point of addictions in adulthood. She discovered her story didn't begin with her, but with her parents. Eventually that journey led her to mercy, compassion and forgiveness with a deep need for honesty and vulnerability with those around her.

    ​*At one point in the conversation she eludes to her senior trip and a trauma that occurred. Due to the length of the interview it was cut out and held for a potential future release.
