Astounding performance

It was magnificent. Sorry to gush, but I think I have been waiting for this for a long time. I first read The Gunslinger in my mid 30's and devoured every book in the Dark Tower series when it became published. The saga of Roland and his tragic journey spoke to me on a basic level that has not been duplicated since. I encouraged my sons to join in this adventure and one is now in my ka-tet.

And now, in this podcast to join in the analysis of this magnificent work by a scholar of the series with another just reading it for the first time is both delightful and educational. Things are being brought to my attention that I missed earlier. Also, since my experience has been only with the original text, I'm finding out about the new revisions King made later.

I'm 72 years old now and feel this experience is absolutely rejuvenating. i look forward to the remaining episodes with much anticipation. The podcast has certainly given me much joy.

Thankee sai. Long days and pleasant nights to you both.
