Before Walmart Jeremy held a variety of roles in the data industry, including Global Head of Alternative Data at Bloomberg, Chief Revenue Officer at Estimize and Chief Product Officer at ACE Portal. Jeremy started his career in global industrials investment banking at Citi and JP Morgan, after briefly consulting at Accenture. 

    Jeremy discusses the evolution of the data landscape over the course of his illustrious career, and why he is pursuing a compelling opportunity in the world of supply chain data. Jeremy delves into how he has spotted early trends in the data landscape ranging from alternative data to Web3. He shares his views on both asset management data use and corporate data use, as well as the roles of data scientists, data engineers and data analysts. Jeremy even shares the controversial view that a lot of data has net negative value due to how challenging it may be to derive insights from mediocre datasets.
