But what did that mean to those who heard it and what does it mean to us today.? All over the world, people are working hard to earn heaven or be worthy of eternal salvation. So what did Jesus finish?

    Charlie names six things that that were finished at the cross by the Lord Jesus: Satan's fate, Old Testament prophesies, the requirements of the Law, the appeasement of God's wrath toward sin, God's purposes for sending Him, and the sealing of the New Covenant. Knowing this liberates the futility of trying to earn God's gracious gift of salvation. Listen and be set free from uncertainty and doubt about whether you are good enough for God's salvation.
