#250 - The Socialite's Premonition

  • Summary

  • On Tuesday 31st May 1932, in a place she had dubbed ‘The Love Hut’, although the evidence stated that (in a drunk and emotional state) Elvira shot her lover to death, the circumstances of the murder was so dubious - that the truth was easily whitewashed by an adoring press who were so besotted by this beautiful but vapid rich kid - that they made her the only victim, and him the absolute culprit.
